The little agency that could is now officially the little agency that did. In what is possibly the greatest 10th birthday gift, Rumble has brought home one of the industry’s most coveted gongs: Small Agency of the Year (Headcount under 25) at the AdNews Agency of the Year Awards 2024.
Judged over a multi-month process that saw a panel of esteemed names pour over hundreds of submissions, the authorities on awesome, with eyebrows pleasantly cocked, pointed in unison to the small and mighty indie out of West End and said, “yeh, that one”… or so we’re told.
Whether the above is accurate or a bold-faced lie, Rumble’s partners Nancy, James, and Remy still proudly clutched the virgin acrylic on behalf of the agency, confidently hoisting it in a manner that can only be described as advertising’s Iwo Jima landing – a couple of inches above one’s waistline.
It’s the third Agency of the Year title in Rumble’s 10-year history, following on from Adfest’s Independent Agency of the Year award in 2016 and B&T’s State Agency of the Year honour in 2018.
The shiny, blue totem, while slight in heft, holds significant weight as recognition of team’s combined effort and adept application of elbow grease and a certain oil that can only be ignited at 12am. Congratulations, Rumblers. May the corks fly high, and the dance moves appear less ungainly.
